Strange encounters, strange places

Itsi-bitsi spider was crawling alone
The lunatic flashes his camera,
The spider is gone….

Ping-pong

Call it “business trip”, call it “been there, done that”, call it whatever you like it, it was a trip to the Black Sea, 7 hours, no sign of sea, maybe just the seagulls – i call it “ping-pong”. Ah, and I don’t give a shot about how I or you call this trip. The pictures speaks for themselves (so turn down your speakers).

Teaser: HOYA Macro set

After being happy for a few days with my new gadgets (450D + lenses), I’ve decided that’s the right time for another acquisition. New lens. Odds were good to me this time and I’ve managed to exchange “3 days old” lenses with new ones.

Let’s all welcome my new TAMRON 28-300mm!

Three days passed since then and … arrgh, well … let’s say I needed something to let me get closer to my subjects (insects, flowers) so…

I also present you my HOYA Macro Set.

First shots

And the day finally came. The day I made my mind about what I want. The day I had time to do it.

There are many sites with pictures of her. Inside and outside descriptions, different angles shots of her. I saw her, I liked her, I dreamed about her. And the day came. I noted her number and her accessory number, I called to check if it’s available and I went to meet her. The guy at the entrance looked at me with a “he, he” smile on his face and asked me in. And there she was, waiting for me. The accessories were there too. I’ve payed and take her home, ready for some intense action. Well, she wasn’t that ready for action that night and I had to wait ’till the next day to use it. And I did!

These are the first shots with my new Canon 450D (Rebel XSi) digital camera:

Blinded by the light

No reason today, no thematic debate. Just a walk in the yard and all those things just popped in front of my camera. The only exception was the < > photo, the blinded sign. I saw it early in the morning, I thought will make a nice photo, obviously I was wrong…

Rain drops

Two days of rain and a small window of sun, then rain again. I guess I was lucky to be there and shot those flowers in their full beauty.

Dwarf iris (reloaded)

… same motive, same place, different day, different lighting.
Some insects arrive…

White Rabbit

Well, Easter passed, no egg photos, no candles, no Easter Bunny! Two days later I found this small white rabbit… or maybe it was a vampire

Dwarf iris (or something)

… just some photos of a flower (or more) taken on a windy day… I suppose that magenta flower is a Dwarf Iris, if it’s not, please tell me.

The act of makin’

If you’re reading this, you are old enough to know, but I’m going to tell you anyway: People with pets meet people with cameras. They talk; they go out; they enter inside… that’s how the photos are made.
